Steps to Update Moto Z Play (NPN26.1-22) to Android 7.1.1 Nougat OTA Update:

Step 1: Foremost, you have to connect your mobile device to a personal computer through USB cable.

Step 2: After that, you have to transfer the official firmware file which you can download from here, to the root folder of your device’s internal storage or SD card.

Step 3: After transferring the installation file, you have to disconnect everything from your device and switch it off to put in Recovery mode.

Step 4: Now, switch on your device by pressing Power button and volume down button together. It will take your mobile into boot loader mode. Now, you have to scroll down to open recovery menu and choose Reboot option in recovery mode.

Step 5: After that, you have to select install update from your device SD card.

Step 6: Now, seek out the OTA firmware file location in your SD card and click on it with the help of Power button .After that, proceed to the installation process by confirming it.

Step 7: Now, return back in recovery menu after the completion of installation process and click on reboot system option there. It will take at least 4-5 minutes for the completion of this installation process.
