Its a moment of rejoice for all the LG K10 users on AT&T as the network has just released its second update for its LG K10 mobile. It’s been quite a long time since they released the last update for this mobile. K10 which was running on 6.1 Marshmallow operating system has, as its users have been seen complaining, ignored by the network as they have only released 2 update for the mobile since it was launched. Although 7.0 Nougat update is still not the latest one but the the mobile users should still be happy. 

The software version for that update is K42520c, and it also includes the 1st April released security patch so it’s not that bad of a treat for K10 users. 

Below are the details for the latest update.

  • Back up your data.
  • Download the update via firmware (OTA)
  • You device must be connected to WiFi and should have more than 90% of battery.





How to update and verify the software:

Step 1- Make sure your device is sufficiently charged and connected to Wi-Fi.

Step 2- From the device home screen, pull down the notification shade and tap Settings.

Step 3- Under the General tab, tap About phone.

Step 4- Tap Software update > Update Now.

Step 5- Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.

Steo 6- The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

Step 4- The device has the latest software if the Baseband version, Build number, and Software version match the current update details.

That’t it. You can enjoy the 7.0 Nougat update on your LG K10.
