Taking a screenshot on your smartphone is one of the best and almost an inevitable feature that all the users have to come across at one time or another. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users can take all types of screenshots on their devices. Note 8 lets the users take a single one page screenshot and a series of screenshots of a very long page and then the shots are pasted together automatically looking like a single long screenshot.

This tutorial will help you with taking single and multiple screenshots and various ways in which you can take them. Here is how you can do that.

Screenshots using device keys:

Step 1: First of all you will have to choose and open the contents you want to take screenshot of.

Step 2: Next you have to hold and press for two seconds the Power and Volume down buttons simultaneously.

Step 3: A flash will appear on the screen and the screenshot will show on the screen for a moment.

Step 4: The screenshot will be automatically saved in the device’s gallery and available for editing and sharing.

Screenshots using palm swipe:

Step 1: First of all you will have to choose and open the contents you want to take screenshot of.

Step 2: Make sure that the palm swipe option is enabled in your device by going to Settings >> Advanced features and if not enabled, select the ‘Palm swipe to capture’ option.

Step 3: Now put your hand on either left or right edge of the screen and swipe inwards while your hand touching the screen for the screenshot to be captured.

Step 4: A flash will appear on the screen and the screenshot will show on the screen for a moment.

Step 5: The screenshot will be automatically saved in the device’s gallery and available for editing and sharing.

Taking multiple screenshots:

Whenever you take a single screenshot, a few options appear at the bottom of the screen, one of them being ‘scroll capture’ for multiple screenshots of one long content such as a menu, tickets list and etc. You ought to tap on the ‘scroll capture’ option for as many times as you wish and later on they will automatically be stitched together as one long shot. 

Screenshots with S Pen and Screen write:

Step 1: First of all you will have to choose and open the contents you want to take screenshot of.

Step 2: For launching the Air command you will have to take out the S Pen and then tap on ‘Screen Write’. 

Step 3: Single screenshot will be captured and you will see the screen flash.

Step 4: Now you will see the screenshot in the editing pane for writing on it using the toolbar options appearing on the top of the screen.

Step 5: You shall tap on Save, Share or Crop after being done with the editing pane.
