Taking Screenshots using the hardware button of your Mate 9

Step 1: launch the app or open the screen whose screenshot you plan to take.

Step 2: Simply press and hold the volume down buttons along with the power button.

Step 3: Keep pressing this button until you hear a sound and see a quick animation on your screen. Both these things indicate that the screenshot was successfully taken.

Finding the Saved Screen Shots

It is pretty easy to find these screenshots on your Mate 9, simply go to the gallery and look for the folder or album named as screenshots. There you will see all the screenshots that you have taken.
