To further save the battery of your iPhone, you need to turn off the apps that run in the background i.e. the background refresh app feature. To turn it off, you need to go to Settings, then to General and look for Background App Refresh option. Toggle off this app to prevent apps from running in the background and consuming the battery.
Add to Home Screen:
This last method is an interesting one and it is very useful for battery draining social media apps especially Facebook. All you have to do is launch Safari, from there go to Facebook and log in. Once this is done, look for the share icon that is usually located at the bottom, center of the screen. By tapping on it, a screen with the URL and name will pop-up. To add the icon to your home screen, you need to tap on the Add option.
The icon will look like the Facebook app, but when you launch it will be open Facebook in the web browser instead of the app that drains most of your iPhone’s battery. Likewise, you can use this method for other social media including Twitter etc.
