Huawei P8 Lite has recently begun receiving the latest B161 firmware update and it is a very stable one. The P8 Lite users can now enjoy the Android 7.0 features on their devices. The security patch in this update is the highlight and it has been released via OTA like other updates thus making it improbable for all the users worldwide to receive the update on their devices.
Many bugs have been fixed along with super efficient security and speed. Before you go any further, make sure stock unrooted firmware has been installed on your device. After that, there are a few more requirements that need to be met and then you are good to go to follow the tutorial for installing B161 Android 7.0 Nougat firmware.

- Make back up of all your data in case things do not go as planned.
- Your device should be charged at least 75%.
- The USB Debugging mode should be enabled on your device.
- The USB drivers should be installed on your computer.
Step 1- First of all you have to download the files Nmentioned above in your smartphone.
Step 2- Next you have to create a new folder, naming it as ‘dload’ in the internal storage of your smartphone.
Step 3- Now you have to transfer the file you had downloaded earlier to this newly created folder.
Step 4- Now go to Settings >> Update >> Local update.
Step 5- The update file shall appear and you have to tap on it in order to commence the installation.
Step 6- Your smartphone shall reboot automatically as soon as the installation process is over.
