Samsung Galaxy S6 G9201 has recently received an update of Android 7.0 Gold Eagle through third part app developers and it is amazing. This update will give your S6 the boost it needs from Nougat 7.0 and will work smooth too. The app is not the official one so your smartphone must have TWRP installed on it otherwise things can get crazy. Android 7.0 based Gold Eagle ROM is easy to install on your smartphone but there are a few requirements which need to be fulfilled first.
- First off you will have to fully backup your device data.
- Download Samsung Galaxy S6 USB drivers.
- Enable USB Debugging mode.
- Make sure you battery is charged up to at least 85-90 percent.
- Your S6 should have ClockworkMod recovery installed.
- Android 7.0 based Gold Eagle ROM is solely for the Samsung Galaxy S6 with the variant G9201.
How to install the Android 7.0 Gold Eagle Custom ROM on Samsung Galaxy S6 G9201:
Step 1- First off you would have to download the Gold Eagle ROM Android 7.0 on your computer.
Step 2- Next you will have to connect your smartphone with the computer using a USB data cable.
Step 3- After the connection has been established, you have to copy/paste the downloaded zip file in Step 1 into the SD card root of your phone and nowhere else.
Step 4- Now you have to disconnect your phone from the computer and turn it off and then hold and press the Home+Power+Volume up keys simultaneously to turn on your phone. This will boot your device into recovery mode.
Step 5- As soon as you enter the recovery mode, you have to tap on ‘Wipe’ to clear out all the data and then swipe to ‘Factory reset’ at the bottom.
Step 6- After that you should go back to the main menu and tap on ‘Install’ and a list shall appear. You will have to find and choose the zip file you had saved in your device’s SD card earlier in Step 3.

Step 7- You will see ‘Swipe to confirm flash’ on the next screen and you shall confirm the installation by choosing this option and the process will commence.
Step 8- Once the installation is completed you will see ‘Wipe cache/dalvik’ on the screen, tap on it.
Step 9- Lastly, you shall tap on ‘Reboot system’ and you are done.
