Drag and Drop method using iOS 11 Files App:

You can zip and unzip the files via the drag and drop method.

Step 1: To dock all the files together, tap and hold a file and use your other finger to add more files in the Files app.

Step 2: Once the files that you want to zip are docked below your finger, drag them to the Zipped App.

Step 3: Once in the Zipped app, let go of the files and you will see 2 options. First, Share and second Save File.

Step 4: Choose the Save File option. Doing this will bring forward the File’s document picker. Now you can pick any folder from anywhere.

Step 5: To add the folder, tap on the Add button.

Step 6: You will find the Zip file in the app when you will navigate to the folder. Now to unzip, drag the zipped file to the Zipped App.

How to Zip and unzip on iPhone using iOS 11 Files App:

Step 1: Launch Zip app, in the middle of the screen you will see a box button tap on it.

Step 2: Doing this will open the Files app view inside the app.

Step 3: Now go to the folder that contains files that you want to zip up.

Step 4: To make selection tap on the Select button.

Step 5: Tap done once you select all the Files.

Step 6: Tap on the Save Files option from the pop-up menu.

Step 7: Look for the folder in which you want to save the zip files, once you find it tap on Add. That is it, you are done.
