Step by Step Instructions of How to Unlock Bootloader on Xiaomi Redmi 4:
Step 1- To start off with unlocking your Xiaomi Redmi 4 bootloader, first download MI Flash Unlock Tool on your personal computer.
Step 2- The downloaded folder will need to be extracted and open the exe.file titled “MiFlashUnlock.exe”
Step 3- Login with you MI account, create one if you don’t have one, because you will have to login with an MI account.
Step 4- After you login, the unlocking bootloader process will start but will give you an error stating “You don’t have the permission to Unlock the device” but you don’t have to be worried, you will just need the permission to allow you to unlock your device.
Step 5- Next you will need to visit official Xiaomi website’s unlock your device page and to get your device unlock.
Step 6- Click unlock and login with your MI account.

Step 7- You will receive a “one time password” on your Xiaomi device. It usually takes few hours but it can also take up to couple of days in some cases till you get the password on your mobile.
Step 8- Once you receive the password, go back to your personal computer and try to open the MI flash tool which you tried to opened but couldn’t at first. You should be able to open it now.
