Talking or messaging while driving is never a good idea since it not only endangers others’ life but yours as well, thus such an activity must be stopped at every cost. What could be more useful than having a feature in your smartphone which would automatically decline an incoming call and send a text message to the caller with the pre-defined text ‘I’m driving right now – I’ll get back to you later’. Verizon lets you have Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus Driving mode auto-reply while they are driving so that they wouldn’t have to receive the call and let the caller know about their situation or if the driver simply declines the call then he won’t be able to send a text while driving which would make him look bad.

So the best option is to keep the auto-reply option enabled all the time so the smartphone would automatically decline the call and send a ‘getting back’ message to the caller. It is not very difficult to turn on Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus Driving mode auto-reply and it would, practically, take a couple of minutes or may be less in doing so which can save many lives if we think about it seriously.
