The latest LiberiOS jailbreak iOS 11 is the hottest item in the market right now and every iPhone user wants to get his hands on it. For all the users who want to sideload the jailbreak app on their devices with a free developer account or Apple id, they ought to use Cydia Impactor for a smooth installation on unsigned Apple apps. 

There have been many users who have encountered the ‘provision.cpp: 168’ error while sideloading the LiberiOS jailbreak app on their Apple devices. Although there has been no official announcement or release of a solution o this problem by Apple but for now, we have compiled a few solutions which you can take in consideration when or if you face the provision.cpp: 168 error.

1- Using App-specific password:

Step 1: First of all you will have to launch the browser and open the Apple official website and sign in to your Apple account.

Step 2: Next you will have to scroll down to Security section where you will see ‘App-specific passwords’ and all you have to do is to click on Generate password link under that.

Step 3: You will be asked to create a label for the app-specific password for it to generate and the label is user’s own discretion. It can from ‘LiberiOS’ to ‘appLiberiOSjailbreak’.

Step 4: Lastly you will have to punch in the app-specific password that you generated in the previous steps when Cydia Impactor asks for it.

2- Using ‘Install package’ option:

Step 1: First of all you will have to connect your device with the computer and launch the Cydia Impactor on it.

Step 2: Next you will have to click on the ‘Device’ drop down menu and select ‘Install package’ from the options given.

Step 3: From there you will be required to select the ‘LiberiOS IPA’ from the options given and simply enter your Apple id and the app-specific generated password if applicable.

3- Revoking the certificates:

If a user is getting this error that simply means that the certificates need to be revoked and here is how to do it.

Step 1: First of all you will have to connect your device with the computer and launch the Cydia Impactor on it.

Step 2: Next you will have to click on the Xcode drop down menu and select ‘Revoke certificates’ from the options given. 

Step 3: Lastly you will have to enter your Apple id when asked for the revoking of the certificates giving you information in a pop-up notification as to how many certificates have been revoked.

4- Miscellaneous:

In case above mentioned solutions were no good in fixing your ‘provision.cpp: 168’ error either you can try using another Apple id or may be using another computer. Some times softwares tend to clash with each other and may be one of the softwares is acting up while you are using Cydia impactor. Similarly, Apple id, at times does not support Cydia impactor because of some bugs and thus causing the user unnecessary annoyance.
