In this tutorials we are going to give you guide to how to root your Samsung Galaxy A5 A510F Nougat Official Firmware with XXU4CQDJ.
The root will give you the edge to use plenty of root apps available on Google play store which you are not able to access in any other way. You will also be able to update various ROMS and third party mods. We should get into the tutorial about rooting your Galaxy A5 with any further wait.

- 1- You need to make sure that you have Samsung USB drivers installed in your personal computer.
- 2- Make sure you have superSU installed from chainfire.
- 3– You should also have TWRP custom recovery installed for your Galaxy A5.
- 4- One the most important thing before rooting is to backup your data.
- 5- You Samsung A5 has to be on official Samsung firmware.
- 6- Make sure you have updated your device already with XXU4CQDJ Android 7.0 firmware.
- 7- This root tutorial is strictly for Samsung A5 (2016) SM-A510F.

How to Root Your Galaxy A5 A510F Nougat Official Firmware with XXU4CQDJ using SuperSU v2.79:
Step 1- First of all download SuperSU v2.79 on your personal computer.
Step 2- After the download completes, connect your Samsung A5 device with your personal computer using a USB cable.
Step 3- The SuperSU file you downloaded in your computer will have to be a zip file titled SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip, you need to copy that file and paste it on a SD card, make sure you don’t paste it on any folder.
Step 4- After you done with copy paste, you need to turn off your device.
Step 5- Now turn off mobile, press home & power button along with volume up button at the same time, and release it when you see the Samsung logo on your A5 screen. Your device is now booting in recovery mode.
Step 6- Scroll down in TWRP recovery mode, you will see file titled “flash zip from SD card”. Press power button to select it.
Step 7- After that look for another file name “choose zip from sdcard” and press power button again to select that file too.
Step 8- Navigate to SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip using volume keys and press power button again to select it. It will ask you to start the installation, you need to confirm it to start the installation process.
Step 9- It will take a little while until the installation finishes and when its done go to “+++++Go Back++++” and look for option in recovery menu “reboot system now”. select it to reboot your system.
The boot may take up to 5 minutes but when it’s back on you will have your Samsung Galaxy A5 rooted with XXU4CQDJ. To verify the root, go to SuperSU app in your app list.
