MIUI firmware based on the Google Android operating system is used for smartphones and tablet. MIUI initially developed only in the Chinese language by Xiaomi but after some disagreements with Google MIUI created many new operations outside the China. You can install the ROM via fastboot if your device is running on MIUI V5, MIUI 6, MIUI 7 and MIUI 8 global stable ROM. 

Downloads Required:

MIUI 8.2.1.0 Global Stable ROM (fastboot)

MI Flash Tool for flashing via fastboot.

MIUI 8.2.1.0 Global Stable ROM (for other phones)

Step 1- Unzip the downloaded MIUI 8.2.1.0 Global Stable ROM fastboot file (use 7zip), then copy the file path (For example, C:\Users\User name\Downloads\Fastboot ROM)
Step 2-  Boot your Redmi 4 Prime into Fastboot mode by using Power button + Volume Down button to power on after switching off the phone
Step 3-  Connect your phone by using a USB Cable

Step 4-  Run the Mi flash Tool (you have downloaded) and paste the copied path of the ROM in the address bar.


Step 5- Click on the refresh button and then click on ‘Flash Button’.

Your device will boot to the new version, after completing all this installation. Now enjoy and explore new features on your device.
