4- The tutorial will remove all your data, so ensure that you have a backup.
5- From your recovery mode, you need to perform the Dalvik Cache wipe.

Instructions:

Step 1- The first step requires you to download Android 7.1 LineageOS ROM.

Step 2- To mount your phone’s memory onto your computer, you need to connect it via USB.

Step 3- Copy the Android 7.1 ROM zip file and paste it into the SD card or the internal memory of your phone. Make sure it is placed directly in the memory and not in any folder.

Step 4- Switch your phone off and then disconnect it from the computer.

Step 5- Turn your phone back in the recovery mode by pressing and holding the Power buttons along with the volume down button.

Step 6- Once in the mode, you need to wipe all your data. You the volume button to navigate to Swipe to factory Reset option and then swipe it to remove all previous data.

Step 7- To begin the installation process, you need to head back to the main menu. Select the zip file that you have copied in step three from “The List.”

Step 8- Swipe the Swipe to confirm flash option to instigate the installation process. The procedure will start now.

Step 9- In case you get into any boot loops during the installation process, tap on the wipe cache and you will be good to go.

Step 10- Step Reboot your phone using the Reboot System button, it might take about 5 minutes for your phone to reboot.
