Important things Before Getting Started

Using a recommended custom recovery create a full backup of all your device data and settings.
1 Go to settings >> Developer Option, and enable the USB Debugging mode
2 Verify that you’ve correctly installed the Galaxy Note Edge USB Drivers on the PC.
3 You must root your Galaxy Note Edge with the latest version of the custom recovery like CWM or TWRP installed.
4 The unlocked bootloader of Note Edge.

Steps to Update Android 7.1 Resurrection Remix Nougat on Samsung Galaxy Note Edge:

Step No 1: First thing you need to do is download the Resurrection Remix Android 7.1 Nougat custom ROM for Galaxy Note Edge on the desktop of the PC
Step No 2: Connect your device with PC with USB data cable mount its USB memory storage.
Step No 3: Move downloaded Resurrection Remix Android 7.1 ROM .zip file to the root folder of your SD card on the phone.
Step No 4: Unplug the Galaxy Note Edge from the PC and power it OFF to boot into Recovery Mode
Step No 5: Power ON device by Pressing Volume Up + Home + Power buttons at the same time to enter into Recovery Mode.
Step No 6: Now your device is in CWM Recovery, perform a wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe Dalvik cache. Go to Advanced >> Wipe Dalvik Cache.
Note: – Wipe Dalvik cache will help you to prevent boot loops and other errors during ROM installation.
Step No 7: Go back to the main Recovery Menu and choose to install zip from SD card → choose zip from SD card.

Step No 8: Go to your SD card folder and Select the ROM .zip file using the Power button and confirm the installation to begin.
Step No 9: Navigate to GO Back after installation gets completed. Reboot your device by selecting
Recovery Menu >> reboot system now.
After this, your Galaxy Note Edge will be reset and it may take 4 to 5 minutes to boot the first time.
