How to Force Quit Apps on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

Step 1: First thing first, you need to unlock your iPhone using either your touch ID or your passcode.

Step 2: Double tap on the Home button to bring forward the App Switcher. All the apps that run in the background will be displayed there.

Step 3: Swipe left or right to look for the app that you want to force close.

Step 4: Once you find the app preview code, swipe it up to force close it.

How to Force Quit Multiple Apps on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

Step 1: Unlock your phone either using the Touch Id or the Passcode.

Step 2: Open the app switcher by pressing the home button twice. You will see all the apps that are running in the background.

Step 3: Reach for the apps that you want to close by swiping left or right.

Step 4: Use three fingers, place one finger on each app preview card and then swipe up together. You can even use four fingers, but it is easier to swipe with three fingers. This way you can force stop 3 or 4 apps at one time.
