In this article, we are quickly giving you a simple yet comprehensive tutorial on how to enter recovery mode on Galaxy Note 8. There is more than one way to do that. All three different methods of entering recovery mode on Note 8 are short and very simple. So let’s get you started with the first one. 

How to enter into recovery mode in Galaxy Note 8 using ADB installed in Mac OS X:

Step 1- First off ADB/USB drivers should be installed on your computer.

Step 2- Now connect your device with your Mac using a USB cable.

Step 3- Next launch the Terminal app on your Mac and type in this command “/<PATH>/android-sdk-macosx/platform-tools/adb reboot recovery” and then press Enter.

**<path> should be the location where you have stored your Android SDK.

Step 4- Your device will turn itself off and boot into recovery mode.

How to enter Galaxy Note 8 into recovery mode using ADB on Windows:

Step 1- First off ADB/USB drivers should be installed on your computer.

Step 2- Now connect your device to the computer using a USB cable.

Step 3- Go to ‘android-sdk-windows\platform-tools’ directory and launch the command prompt by doing this ->Shift +Right-click anywhere in the folder >> Open Command Prompt.

Step 4- Type this command in the prompt ‘adb reboot recovery’ and press Enter. Your phone will turn off after this and will boot into recovery mode.

How to enter into recovery mode in Samsung Note 8 using hardware buttons:

Step 1- First of all, you need to turn off your Galaxy Note 8. 

Step 2- Next you ought to long press and hold the Power button+Bixby button+Volume up button simultaneously.

Step 3- You shall see the blue screen with the message ‘Installing system update’. 

Step 4- A few seconds later another blue screen will appear with the message ‘No command’ and you will see the Recovery menu.
