Locking and unlocking your smartphone is considered a larger issue than locking a safe vault in a bank. The amount of time smartphone producing brands put in in the development and conception of new and better ideas of locking and securing your smartphones is remarkable and ridiculous at the same time.

However, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ flagships are a noteworthy phone of 2017 and we can not stop ourselves from telling you about the iris scanning and face unlocking in these devices. It is super easy to perform either or both of the methods for unlocking your device.

How to enable iris unlocking method on Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+:

1 Swipe down the notification shade on your device’s home screen and and tap on the Settings icon.

2 Scroll down to ‘Lock screen and security’ and tap on it.

3 Tap on the ‘Iris scanner’ and enter either your PIN or password or pattern.

4 Tap on the ‘Register irises’ agreeing to the disclaimer (without even reading of course).

5 Tap on ‘Continue’ and look into the secondary camera (front camera) for registering irises.

How to enable face unlocking method on Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+:

1 Swipe down the notification shade on your device’s home screen and and tap on the Settings icon.

2 Scroll down to ‘Lock screen and security’ and tap on it.

3 Tap on the ‘Face recognition’ and enter either your PIN or password or pattern.

4 Tap on the ‘Register your face’ agreeing to the disclaimer (without even reading of course).

5 Tap on ‘Continue’ and look into the secondary camera (front camera) for registering your face.
