Prerequisites to install TWRP 3.2.1 on Samsung Galaxy A3:

This tutorial is for Galaxy A3 variants (A320F / A320FD), so it is better not to try it on other variants of Galaxy series or the like because it might jeopardize your entire smartphone and your intellect as well.

  • It is important that you make a backup of your data, as installing a TWRP will delete all your previous data.
  • You need to enable the USB debugging mode of your phone.
  • You have to install the USB Drivers for your phone on your computer.
  • Make sure that you have unlocked the bootloader of your Galaxy A5.
  • You also need to enable the OEM unlocking on your phone.
  • The USB cable that you will be using to connect your PC to your phone should be original.

How to install TWRP 3.2.1 on Galaxy A3 2017:

Step 1: Start with download the Odin on your computer and install it properly.

Step 2: Switch off your phone and turn it back on in the downloading mode. You can do that by pressing and holding the Home button with the Power and the Volume Down button. The moment you see the downloading screen, you should leave the keys.

Step 3:  Connect your Samsung Galaxy A3 to your computer via USB Cable. One moment the connection is successful, you will see the ID: COM box in Odin turns yellow.

Step 4: You need to select the TWRP Recovery.img.tar file and to do so, you first click on “AP” tab in Odin and then select the desired file.

Step 5: You need to ensure that the Auto-Reboot option is unchecked, whereas the F.Rest Time option is checked.

Step 6:  To start the process, simply press the start button. It might take some time, but once you are done, you ought to hold together Bixby, Power and Volume down button all at the same time until you see the screen going pitch black.
 Step 7- Next you should let go of the Volume down button and instead hold the Volume up button along with the Power and Bixby buttons as mentioned in the preceding step.
 Step 8- Now you will be in recovery mode and TWRP interface shall be visible to you on the screen. This is the time when you connect your device with the computer.
 Step 9- No Dm-verity script would have to be copied over that was downloaded earlier and then you shall go to TWRP screen and click on install.
 Step 10- Next you would have to install image and there you shall select the copied boot image and click on installation to start the process. Last but not the least, you may reboot your phone now.
