In such a situation, you need to have the previous owner’s Email id that he/she used at the time of activation. For people who are unaware of the FRP feature, here is an abridged description. Factory Reset Protection Lock (FRP) was first in Android 5.1 by Samsung. It had the same concept as that of iCloud lock activation. In case you lost your phone or it gets stolen, the first thing that person is going to do is Factory reset your phone. After that, he will try setting it, up again. However, after bypassing initial steps, he would be required to connect to the internet. Once that happens, the person would be asked for the previous ID. Without that ID he/she would not be allowed to move forward.
