Google Pixel 2 XL is a master piece by Google. It seems to showcase everything that Google has to offer. The software is outstanding, the camera is excellent, and the performance is fantastic. There is nothing miss in the phone. Although, people are quite satisfied with the software of the phone, it is the hardware that they have complained about. A number of users have reported problems regarding the speakers of the phone. This should not be the case with any expensive flagship device. No matter how great Google tries to make its flagship device, it is a machine in the end and it has problems associated with it. An app can be responsible for the rebooting of your phone. To check if it is a rogue app that is causing this problem, you need to boot your phone into the Safe Mode. Once in the safe mode, if the phone does not restart again, it means it is the app that is causing the problem. However, it is does you need to contact Google Support Center. If the app is the problem, try deleting all the apps that you recently downloaded. The last resort should be factory resetting your phone, but make a backup of your data before doing so.

Problem 3: Touchscreen Issues

Several users have complained that the touch does not work at the edges. They have to press again and again in order to access things like Advanced Setting menu or Hamburger menu via the three dots.  They also complain that they have problem while using the left or the right elements on the keywords.

Problem 7: Connectivity Issues

It is the case with any new mobile phone, you tend to face some connectivity issues. Below are the potential solutions when you face any connectivity issues.

Wi-Fi Solutions

  1. Turn off both the device and the router for about 10-20 seconds and then turn them back on.
  2. Turn off the power saving option.
  3. Check how heavy your Wi-Fi channel is, if it is very heavy a wise thing to do would be to switch to a better option.
  4. Forget Wi-Fi connections and try connecting them again.
  5. The router firmware should be updated
  6. Keep the apps and the software of your Google Pixel 2 XL up to date.
  7. Make sure that the MAC address is allowed by the Wi-Fi Mac Filter.

Bluetooth Issues

  1. Can’t connect to the car, look for the solution in the manufacturer’s menu and connect accordingly.
  2. Make sure, you do not miss any step of the connection process.
  3. Delete previous pairing and try making a new connection
  4. Only a future update can resolve the multi-app pairing issue. You will have to wait for that.
  5. Go to Settings, Bluetooth and make sure that you don’t have to change anything there.

Hard Reset

  1. To do this, first you need to switch off your Google Pixel 2 XL.
  2. Next turn it back, on by pressing and hold the volume down button along with the power button. Keep pressing both of these buttons until you see start logo on your screen, now tap the volume button twice and the power button to enter the recovery mode.
  3. Now hold the power button, then press and release the Volume Up button.
  4. Navigate using the Volume buttons, look for the factory reset option. Select it via the Power button. Select Okay to proceed.

Booting into Safe Mode

  1. You need to press and hold the Power Button, make sure that the scree is on.
  2. Now select the power off selection option in the menu.
  3. Finally tap on OK to instigate Safe Mode.
