iOS 11 brings in a number of new features, among these features One-Handed is the favorite of several users. Since this feature is an inbuilt feature of iOS, you can activate it by going to Setting.

But there are users who are still waiting for the iOS 11 update, if you are among those users, you still can enjoy the One-Handed keyboard without upgrading your phone to iOS 11 or the beta version.

Enabling the Third-Party Keyboards

For a third-party keyboard to work properly, you would have to follow a couple of steps. The first thing that you need to do is, download the keyboard. Then head to the Settings app, from there you need to go to General, Keyboard, Keyboards and then tap on the “Add New Keyboard” option to add a new keyboard.

Tapping on this option will present you a list of keyboards installed on your iPhone. You would not have to select the keyboard that you want to use after that enable Full Access option. You will also get access to features like GIF search, predictive text and much more.

Once the keyboard is fully enabled, head to any place where you want to text. Open the keyboard and to switch between keyboards tap and hold the Globe Key located at the bottom of the keyboard.


One-Handed Keyboard

There are several apps for One-Handed Keyboard available on App Store. All you have to do is install one on your iPhone. These keyboards have the ability to work with One-Handed mode by default. One good example is “One-Handed Keyboard” It is easy to download and simple to use. You can even change the background color of this app.

Gesture Typing in Keyboards like Swiftkey or Gboard

You can even download third party apps like Swype, Swiftkey, and Gboard to enjoy typing using your gesture. Most of these apps are pretty good and we are sure you would enjoy them.
