Steps to flash USB OTG or SD card
Many things can go wrong that can cause you your phone, but thankfully TWRP has a solution for this problem. It lets you mount your external storage device such as USB OTG or SD card. This will save you a lot of trouble as you will be able to install any app on the external storage and flash it on your phone. The entire process is pretty easy and we have listed the steps below.
Step 1: You would first have to download the desired ZIP file that you want to flash on your phone. You also need to ensure that your phone supports SD card or the OTG drive. If it does transfer the flashable file to your SD card or the USB, connect it to your phone using the adapter cable.
Step 2: Now you have to boot the phone into the TWRP mode and form the main menu you would have to select the mount option. Choose either the USB OTG or the SD card depending on the device that you have connected. Once this is done, just tap on the home button.

Step 3: Once you have done all that, you would have to press the install button from the TWRP’s main menu. Then you would have to select the SELECT STORAGE option that is located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Now after that you would have to opt for the USB OTG or the USB card option. As mentioned above this depends on the device that you are using. Lastly, you have to press okay when you see a popup menu. Here flashing will act in exactly the same way as your smartphone’s internal memory. So to select a file, you will have to use the file browser and select the desired file then swipe right to flash it.
