After the launch of Google Assistant with Google Pixel mobile, most Android users are eagerly waiting for Google Voice assistant update on their Android phones. Recently, Google announced that they are allowing the users to install Google Voice Assistant on their Android smartphones running Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.

But, the issue is that most of the people do not know the updating process of Google Voice Assistant in their Android smartphones. Google XDA is also trying to install this update automatically on your Android smartphone but the process is very slow and many customers want to install Google Voice assistant for better usability of their Android smartphones.

To allow Google Voice assistant work properly on your Android smartphone, you have to launch a hidden activity Google app known as com.google.android.apps.gsa. staticplugins.opa.hq.OpaHqActivity.

There are two methods available in the market to install Google Voice Assistant in your Android smartphone running Marshmallow operating system. Let’s discuss them briefly.

Install Google Voice assistant by using activity launcher:

Step 1-  Foremost, you have to launch activity launcher.

Step 2- Click on “recent activities” tab and then click on “All activities”. After that, you have to wait some time to load all activities.

Step 3- Now, scroll down to seek out Google App. After that, click on it and expand it to see the options available in it.

Step 4- Seek out com.google.android.apps.gsa.staticplugins.opa.hq.OpaHqActivity. After that, click on it.

Step 5-  You can see new assistant “Explore” screen on your Android smartphone where multiple integration options are available by Google and ways to use them.

Step 6- Swipe “your stuff” tab and then click on “Add reminder” to trigger your new Google Voice assistant in your smartphone. This step will launch the activity of com.google.android.apps.gsa.staticplugins.opa.hq.OpaHqActivity in your unrooted Android device.

Step 7- After that, you have to teach your Google Voice assistant to recognize your voice through hot word setup process. It is the last step to activate and launch Google Voice assistant on your unrooted Android device running Lollipop operating system.

Install Google Voice Assistant by using Nova Launcher:

Step 1-  Foremost, you have to seek out the empty space on your Android smartphone’s home screen and press it for 4 seconds to add a new widget to your home screen.

Step 2-  Click on “Widget” option.

Step 3-  Hold “Activities” under “Nova Launcher” menu and drag it to your Android smartphone home screen.

Step 4-  Now, seek out “Google App” in it. After that, click on it and expand it to see the options available in it.

Step 5- Seek out com.google.android.apps.gsa.staticplugins.opa.hq.OpaHqActivity. After that, click on it.

Step 6- You can see new assistant “Explore” screen on your Android smartphone where multiple integration options are available by Google and ways to use them.
