Secondly you have to have the up-to-date firmware and if you don not, you should go to Windows store and download the Xbox Accessories app.

How to connect Xbox One controller with the NVIDIA Shield TV:

1- On your Shield TV you have to go to Settings and select ‘Add accessory’.

2- You will have to wait until the Shield TV locates the controller through Bluetooth.

3- Once found, you have to select your controller for pairing and you’re good to go.

How to connect PS4 controller with the NVIDIA Shield TV:

1- For the pairing mode to turn on you shall hold down the share button and PS button simultaneously and you will see the light bar blink in a while.

2- Next on your Shield TV you have to go to Settings and select ‘Add accessory’.

3- You will have to wait until the Shield TV locates the controller through Bluetooth.

4- Once found, you have to select your controller for pairing and you’re good to go.
