Where will it be available in the US:

According to Essentials, the mobile will be available on all 4 major mobile networks in the unites states. Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T should be selling The Essentials mobile whenever it comes out. In response to that these mobile network companies issued their respective statements.

Verizon issued a statement,

While the phone might work on Verizon, we can’t promise the same experience and quality of service as devices that have been tested and approved for use on our network.

And this is what T-Mobile had to say in response to Essentials statement:

We’re excited for Andy Rubin and his team (the device looks amazing), and welcome customers purchasing Essential to bring it to the fastest and most advanced 4G LTE in the country through our BYOD program. We’ll have more to share closer to general availability in terms of what advanced network features might be available to Essential.

Similarly Sprint also confirmed that they will also have Essentials mobiles in their networks, but like Verizon the also stated, that they will have to wait and see when the smartphone will come out and how will it support their network.

This is what sprint said:

Essential’s debut smartphone will operate on our network. More specific information will be provided at a later date.

AT&T has still to make a statement but it’s being said that AT&T will also be featuring the Essential mobile when it comes out.
