- It is important that you make a backup of your data, as installing a TWRP will delete all your previous data.
- You need to enable the USB debugging mode of your phone.
- You have to install the USB Drivers for your phone on your computer.
- Make sure that you have unlocked the bootloader of your Galaxy A5.
- You also need to enable the OEM unlocking on your phone.
- The USB cable that you will be using to connect your PC to your phone should be original.

How to install TWRP 3.2.1 on Galaxy A5 2017:
Step 1: Start with download the Odin on your computer and install it properly.
Step 2: Switch off your phone and turn it back on in the downloading mode. You can do that by pressing and holding the Home button with the Power and the Volume Down button. The moment you see the downloading screen, you should leave the keys.
Step 3: Connect your Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime to your computer via USB Cable. One moment the connection is successful, you will see the ID: COM box in Odin turns yellow.
Step 4: You need to select the TWRP Recovery.img.tar file and to do so, you first click on “AP” tab in Odin and then select the desired file.
Step 5: You need to ensure that the Auto-Reboot option is unchecked, whereas the F.Rest Time option is checked.
